FRIDAY
STUDENT CULMINATIONS
All culminations are free.

Glass Sculpture
1pm – Conley Gallery

Enjoy the gallery exhibit of mixed media glass sculpture created using the process of glass blowing, casting, or formed from kilns.


Writing the Memoir, Part II
1pm – Conley Lecture Hall

The second group of students will read from the memoir narratives created during the workshop.


Post Production
3pm – Conley Lecture Hall

Students will present the final cut of a student acted, directed, scored, and produced film that was shot and edited during Summer Arts.


Composer-Performer
4:30pm – Concert Hall

Students will present a concert of music for a variety of instruments composed during the two weeks of the workshop.


Flamenco Guitar
6pm – Concert Hall

Students will present a concert of flamenco guitar music for both solo players and guitar ensembles.


Animation
7pm – Lyles Gallery

Students will present a reel of 3-D digital characters designed and animated using tools such as motion capture technology, scanning, and rigging.


Clown Performance
7:30pm – John Wright Theatre

Students will showcase the physical work and creative spirit it takes to be a clown!


Steppenwolf Theatre
8:30pm – Dennis and Cheryl Woods Theatre (formerly Arena Theatre)

Students will present a scene from Lanford Wilson’s groundbreaking play Balm in Gilead. The play takes place in a cafe frequented by the downtrodden of society looking to step out of their reality for a moment.
