The Afiara String Quartet

The Afiara String Quartet, which takes its name from the Spanish fiar, meaning "to trust," is the most recent holder of the Morrison Quartet Fellowship through San Francisco State University. In 2008, the Afiara were prize-winners in both the Concert Artist Guild International (NYC) and the Munich ARD Competition.
