Ars Medicina is a new documentary from Bklyn2LA productions and MEDiA OFFLiNE. Working with HELPS International, Ars Medicina follows several Los Angeles-based doctors and surgeons as they undertake a journey of personal discovery and compassion in rural Guatemala. For one week the medical teams set up a surgical camp in Solola, Guatemala, a breathtakingly beautiful but distressingly poor community. The medical teams work around the clock for five days in an effort to help the hundreds of people who come for free medical aid.
