Due to budget restrictions, the CSU Media Internship program will NOT be providing FREE on-campus housing (or any other housing) for any student interns in 2010.
On-campus housing IS available at CSU Northridge and at San Francisco State University, but students are responsible for reserving and paying for their own housing.
CSU Northridge Housing Info 2010
Apartment-style dormitory housing will be available at CSU Northridge for interns at $25.50 per night. STUDENT INTERNS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PRE-PAYING FOR THEIR OWN HOUSING AT CSU NORTHRIDGE. Payments are to be made with credit card.
The $25.50 per night rate includes double occupancy (2 persons in each bedroom) in a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment comes furnished and has a kitchen with a stove and refrigerator (does not include microwave, utensils, pots, pans or dishes). Meals and linens are available, and are not included in this rate. Meals can be purchase in Geronimo's, an all you can eat dining hall, located in Student Housing. Costs per meal are: Breakfast: $8.95; lunch $9.95 and dinner 10.95 (see attached flyer).
On-campus parking is not included in this rate, and can be purchased for an additional $6 per day at the parking office.
Housing is available at CSU Northridge from June 1 (or possibly sooner; please contact Karla La Rosa at the email address below if you would like to begin housing a few days earlier) to August 14, 2010.

San Francisco State University Housing Info 2010

STUDENT INTERNS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR THEIR OWN HOUSING AT SAN FRANSICSO STATE UNIVERSITY. Payments are to be made with credit card.
Rates vary depending on occupancy and meal plan selected. The rooms are suites with 2-3 bedrooms sharing a kitchen and bathroom. For a FAQ that includes information on what you need to bring, the setup of the rooms, etc, go here
On-campus parking is not included, and may be purchased for an additional $5 per day at the parking office.
Housing is available from June 6 to August 13, 2010.
To book and pay for housing, you must download and complete the New Resident University Housing Application found here , AND the Summer 2010 Housing License Agreement found here.
