The 2010 Media Arts Festival will be held on November 6 on the CSU Fullerton campus. The deadline to submit entries is October 4, 2010. You can download the entry form and get more information about rules and entry qualifications here.

The categories for submission are:

NARRATIVE: comedy or tragedy, tells a linear story
ANIMATION: either traditional or digital
MUSIC VIDEO: to original or existing music
EXPERIMENTAL: film, video, or computer-generated, does not tell a linear story
DOCUMENTARY: a presentation of factual, political, social, or historical events
TELEVISION: public affairs, arts and culture, news programs, community-related programs, commercials, or special projects
INTERACTIVE MEDIA: cd-rom, websites, or other hypermedia presentations
SHORT SCREENPLAY: must be 15 pages or less
FEATURE SCREENPLAY: may be up to 120 pages

The prizes are:

$1000 and Rosebud Award to winner of Best in Show
$500 and Rosebud Award to winner in each category
$250 to the campus department of each winning entry
Place Awards will also be given in each category
