HISTORY OF CSU SUMMER ARTS IN 2002

Hosted by CSU Fresno, Summer Arts 2002
offered nineteen academic courses. Classes were two weeks long, offered three units of college credit, and took place between June 30 and July 27, except for Drawing and Painting in Florence, which took place from June 16 to June 29. Twenty-four CSU faculty members from eleven CSU campuses served as course coordinators in the genres of theatre, music, visual arts, dance, film and video, arts education, and creative writing. 414 students attended Summer Arts in 2002, and over 120 guest artists participated as instructors and performers.
